The world on his Shoulders
Spiderman- This is a posed Ceramics piece of Spiderman doing Atlas's caring the world on his shoulders. Its is glazed in Metallic Brass. The reason I put spiderman in this pose was for the hardships that the "youngest" superhero (not sidekick) would have on his shoulders. The world is a web to make up his own mind as a world and he is considered giant though it is more of a city view obscured.
Nude
Woman- Made from Ceramics/Earthware glazed twice Honey and gloss. This was a piece of a female subject that came in to pose for this project.
Make Me
Self Portrait- This is made from ceramics. It is a peeled away face that hung on the wall with a table of makeup for anyone to use on the face sitting below it. This piece was interactive to show the manipulation others can make on a piece. Since there is not person that it's attached to then it is up to the people around to tell her what she is by how she looks.
